Vision: Construct an environmentally sound building at a busy intersection to address the need for a variety of professional services in one destination.

ELM Business Centre is located at one of the busiest intersections in the heart of Milton. With high visibility and exposure, as well as proximity to public transportation, this site is an optimal location for professional and medical services, childcare, food services and government offices. The strategy focused on constructing the building according to LEED Program guidelines to reduce utility costs and carbon footprint. Ultimately, ELM is aiming to achieve LEED Silver Certification as a result of its use of renewable geothermal energy, high efficiency equipment, automated electrical/mechanical systems and low emitting materials.

ELM recognized an opportunity to construct a business centre in an affluent, underserved area to support a growing population. The development enabled ELM’s capital to be pulled within seven years. To date, the business centre maintains very satisfactory returns with a low debt ratio.
