Whitby Lands was planned as a mixed-use community, combining mid-rise residential with commercial purpose and standalone commercial uses. The goal was to create a family friendly, “live, work, play” community, where obtainable homes and in-demand commercial intersect. The development is close to schools, art hubs, farmers markets, highways and public transit.

 

Acquired in 2018 in an off-market transaction, ELM applied its experience in Whitby and other secondary markets to envision this community. ELM is currently collaborating with the Town of Whitby to achieve appropriate density and uses to create a thoughtfully planned, pedestrian friendly node.
