Vision: Create a vibrant “missing middle” rental community with larger units designed for families and downsizers.
A former Bank of Montreal branch, this site is being redeveloped into an 11-storey mixed-use building. The building will feature 180 purpose-built rental apartments and ~2,700 square feet of ground-floor retail. Designed by Turner Fleischer, the project’s unit mix (50%+ 2- and 3-bedroom layouts) caters to families and downsizers. A streetfront retail corner at Culnan Ave. & The Queensway adds everyday convenience for residents and the community.
Situated in a high-growth node near the Gardiner Expressway, Highway 427, and transit including TTC’s Kipling and Islington stations, residents have easy access to and from downtown Toronto. Following our success with 1156 The Queensway, 1230 The Queensway will become the community’s second purpose-built rental building, filling a real gap in accessible, modern rental housing.
